Topic:DECLARE IT (Part 9)

Text: “When He disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], he made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.” – Colossians 2:15, NKJV.

One of the crucial pieces of information you need to arm yourself with as a Christian is how the Lord Jesus defeated the devil on your behalf. You need to let the devil know that you know he is defeated because he assumes you don’t know.

So, arm yourself with this truth and declare it whenever the devil tries to play his games around you. Be bold to strip the devil off his cover. Let him know you know him and his deception and that you will not fall for it.

One way we defeat the devil, our adversary, is by exposing him. As you expose him, you declare your authority and take charge of the situation and expectations.

Make this a guiding principle: declare your identity and expose the enemy’s deception and how Jesus Christ already defeated him for you.

TODAY’S TASK

Is there an area of your life where you believe the enemy is trying to make you face defeat? Take some time to declare victory in that area in Jesus’ name.
