Today’s Word: Defeating Deceptions (Part 3)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 53:1 (NIV)—“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.”

One of the blessings of being led by the Holy Spirit is that He guides us along the path of wisdom, saving us from shame, loss, and everything that is outside the will of God. When we submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we are elevated above principalities and powers.

One of the lies of this age is the idea that we can live without boundaries. Many people, enslaved by their carnal desires, live without the restraint of righteousness. What they view as freedom has led them into various forms of bondage.

Living a disciplined life means understanding the difference between paths that lead to life and those that lead to destruction. A disciplined life, submitted to the Holy Spirit, is the path to victory, authority, dignity, and power.

I pray for you that you will not be a victim of the lies and deception the enemy throws around in this generation in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, teach me your ways and order my steps in your word.
