Today’s Word: DIFFERENT THINKING (Part 7)

Today’s Bible Reference: Isaiah 50:4, ICB – “The Lord God has given me the ability to teach. He has taught me what to say to make the weak strong. Every morning, he wakes me. He teaches me to listen like a student.”

As Christians, our words should reflect the light and life of Christ. When we speak, our words should carry hope to the hopeless, courage to the fearful, and strength to the weary. This is a hallmark of a person with a “different spirit,” like Caleb.

In Numbers 13:30, Caleb silenced fear and inspired confidence when he boldly declared that the Israelites could conquer the Promised Land. His words uplifted and encouraged, showcasing the spirit of faith and hope that every believer should emulate.

Encouragement is not just an act of kindness; it is a ministry. When we intentionally speak life, we become vessels of God’s love. Even when offence arises, the words we choose can turn a potential wound into a moment of healing.

Ask yourself: How can my words today reflect the encouragement that Caleb carried? Remember, your words have the power to shape lives and reflect God’s character.

Dear friend, I pray God’s light shines on your path all through today in Jesus’ name.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration
Lord Jesus, teach me to speak words of life that minister grace to those who hear me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
