Topic: Do not admire them (Part 1)

Text: “Do not let your heart envy sinners [who live godless lives and have no hope of salvation], But [continue to] live in the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord day by day.” – Proverbs‬ 23‬:17‬, AMP‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

It is common to come across people who advance through immoral, corrupt, and devious means. We see the corrupt and the wicked being celebrated all around us. Sometimes, it appears like the wrong way is the winning way. Christians are often tempted to do things against God’s will because they are desperate to solve some problems.

Dear friend, the Lord understands how you feel, and he knows what your heart desires and assures you today that he will come through for you. Do not admire the blessing or what appears to be the good news of an ungodly person. People who have rejected the way of the Lord and do not live in the fear of God are not your standards, and they should not be your focus. Do not admire them.
