Today’s Word: Don’t stand still (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference: Deuteronomy 2:2-3 (ICB) – “Then the Lord said to me, you have travelled through these mountains long enough. Turn north.”

There is a remarkable lesson from today’s bible text; it is about God causing a positive disruption in the lives of His people.

Human beings love the familiar. We create reasons and justifications to continue with the familiar and not allow disruptions. We would not mind something new and better as long as it doesn’t disrupt lives.

However, if you truly want to experience the awesome provision God has for you, you must be open to disruption. Allow God’s counsel to challenge the way you have always been. Seek information that inspires you to dare the unfamiliar.

Those who get ahead and stay ahead are those who are open to change and allow themselves to attempt new things.

As long as you have breath, there is no excuse to be stuck in a particular way of doing things. Don’t stand still – move, grow, rise, and dare new things.
