Today’s Word: Don’t stand still (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: 2 Timothy 1:7 (ICB) – “God has not given us a spirit that makes us afraid. He gave us a spirit of power and love and self-control.”

Today’s bible text reminds us that the fear that limits is not from God. There are various forms and manifestations of fear that hold many back, preventing them from being what Christ has redeemed them to be.

Those who focus on the fear of failure will be held by that thought. When you focus on negative thoughts and pictures, you may never experience what God can do through you.

One way to conquer the fear of failure is to keep your eyes on the Lord. We achieve this as we maintain focus on God’s Word.

In Matthew 14:29-31, we read of how Peter was drowning because of fear, but he returned to supernatural experiences when he returned his focus on Jesus.

When you take your eyes away from Jesus, you will begin to honour the voice of unbelief but when focus is restored to Jesus, strength and direction comes.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration

In the name of Jesus, today I arise by the power of the Spirit into what God has prepared for me.
