Today’s Word: Don’t stand still (Part 5)

Today’s Bible Reference: Philippians 3:14 (NLT) – “I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

One key wisdom that is necessary for growth is for you to know that you cannot be an expert at something new. 

As you take steps of faith and dare new things, you won’t always be right. You will make mistakes. There will be oversights. But you must not let this affect you psychologically. Your mistakes must not place a limit on what you can do or be.

Allow yourself to learn and grow. It could be in business, a relationship or a new environment. Don’t assume you are going to be a master at anything overnight. Allow the wisdom of God’s word to guide you as you remain open to learning.

Don’t be too hard on yourself for your mistakes. Always remind yourself that failure is not the opposite of success but a part of success.
