Topic: EXCEEDING JOY (Part 4)

Text: “With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation”- Isaiah 12:3, NLT.

God wants us to experience His joy. Sadly, some people are not experiencing the reality of God’s joy because they have allowed themselves to be overwhelmed with sadness. Some of these people are believers of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Ghost. 

In our world today, there is an increase in sadness, depression, worry and anxiety more than ever before, with trivial and temporary solutions for happiness. 

There is no true and lasting joy outside Christ. You cannot come into the experience of true joy by the works of the flesh. God’s joy is a product of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We are reminded in the scriptures in Galatians 5:22 that God’s spirit gives joy.

So, we must be intentional about receiving joy from God’s spirit. I urge you today to receive God’s joy. Declare over yourself: “In the name of Jesus, I receive God’s joy. I declare that God’s joy overflows in my heart always in Jesus’ name.”

Today’s Task:

Is there someone you know who has been troubled about a situation? Reach out to them to minister God’s peace and joy to their hearts.

Wisdom Push:

There is no true and lasting joy outside Christ; you cannot experience true joy by the activities of the flesh.

Today’s Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the Lord shows me a way out of every challenge.
