Topic: EXTENDING GRACE (Part 3)

Text: “You cannot brag that you are saved by the work you have done” – Ephesians 2:9, ICB.

One of the testimonies of God’s grace is that He doesn’t treat us the way we deserve. God’s word testifies of His grace to us in Psalms 103:10 when it says, “He has not punished us as our sins should be punished. He has not repaid us for the evil we have done.” God always treats us better than we deserve.

As Christians, the grace of God enables us to live like Christ and to mirror Him in all things. Therefore, we embrace God’s example by treating people better than they deserve. There are those around you who cannot see their potential. There are those around us who seem not to be deserving of our love and support. There are those around us who are weak.

We must treat them better than they feel or deserve. We must remain big-hearted towards those who appear unworthy. We must remain patient and kind towards those who seem difficult. We must sincerely look out for the best in others.

This is one way we can share God’s grace with others.

TODAY’S TASK

Is there someone around you that you feel is not deserving of love and respect? Decide to start loving and respecting them more than they deserve.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I overcome every struggle to love others.

Lord Jesus, help to maintain a large and liberal heart towards those who appear undeserving of love.
