Topic: EXTENDING GRACE (Part 4)

Text: “Jesus said, “Forsake the habit of criticising and judging others…” – Luke 6:37, TPT.

No matter how much of a genius you feel you are, You cannot always be right; only God is. You are a limited being; you do not know everything, and sometimes you get things wrong. This is also true for those we serve or lead; they can also be wrong again and again.

We must be careful not to relate to the mistakes of others as though we are infallible. We must be careful not to be inconsiderate about the shortcomings of others without love and grace. We cannot speak to people or lead them as an infallible authority or an all-knowing being.

Our response to the failings or shortcomings of others has to be as a co-traveller in the journey of grace. We all need the grace of God daily, and we should be able to extend the same to others in their journey of growth.

Be careful never to judge anyone too harshly, be careful not to be inconsiderate of others, and be careful not to ever speak to anyone as though you are infallible. We are all co-travellers on the journey of grace.
