Topic: EYES THAT SEE (PART 2)

Text: “Lovers of God have been given eyes to see and ears to hear from God.”- Proverbs 20:12, TPT.

When God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah in the book of Genesis 18, he declared in verse 17, ‘Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?’ God reveals his plans to his children.

God’s word says in Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.”

The scripture tells us in Daniel 2:22 that “He reveals deep and hidden things, he knows what lies in darkness and light dwells in him.”

God takes delight in revealing secrets and mysteries to his children. The closer we walk with God, the more our spiritual eyes are sharpened, and we can access what is happening in the spirit.

In the physical realm, when something is difficult to see clearly, we slow down and focus all our attention to see exactly what it is. Also, to see clearly in the spirit, we must learn to pause and focus on building a friendship with God. The focus must not just be for our spiritual eyes to be open but to nurture a healthy and burning relationship with the Lord.

Friends of God do not walk in spiritual blindness. The more time we spend with the word of God and in fellowship, the more intimate our walk with the Lord becomes, and this comes with awesome blessings, including the gift of sight. Press for a more intimate walk with the Lord daily.
