Text: “The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.” – Hebrews 11:2, MSG

While praying to God and entrusting everything to his capable hands is important, our faith in God gives our prayers meaning and power. Everything is meaningless if it is done without faith in God. 

Faith in God is the number one weapon of every Christian. Our belief that our God is able and in charge of all things must be non-negotiable.

In Hebrews 11:6, the Bible reminds us that everyone who comes to God must believe that he is God. We must believe that God exists. We must believe in God’s power. We must believe that God hears and answers our prayers.

If we don’t have faith in God, all our spiritual activities will lack weight and value. Our faith in God gives meaning and power to everything we do. Our faith in God represents and strengthens our focus on God.
