Topic: FIRST THINGS FIRST (Part 5)

Text: “My dear friend, I know your soul is doing well. I pray that you are doing well. I pray that you are fine in every way and that your health is good”. – 3 John 1:2, ICB.

Our heavenly father is interested in every detail of our lives, including our physical bodies and material concerns. 

We know this because after God gave the mandate to subdue the earth, he placed man in a garden, giving him herbs, fruit, vegetables, and live fresh animals as meat. He also provided fresh spring water for the garden and for the man and woman to drink. 

Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost, so we must take good care of them in honour of the divinity we carry.

Rest is important; otherwise, God would not have commanded the Sabbath as a day of rest and designated it as a Holy day. 

Dear friend, take time to rest. Don’t feel guilty about resting. Rest should be an integral part of your life.

Our commitment to rest enhances our productivity and perspective.

Today’s Task:

Make a list of healthy things you already do. What can you add to it today?

Wisdom Push:

We are of no use to God’s kingdom in the grave. Activate the covenant of life through both prayer and healthy living.

Thank God I am alive, I live fulfilled, and I live well in Jesus’ name.
