Topic: FLOURISH (PART 3)

Text: “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon”- Psalms 92:12, NIV.

The cedar tree, which is widely planted in Lebanon, was used in furniture and construction during biblical times. Its distinct and soothing aroma spreads rapidly and will likely outlive the individual who plants it.

According to God’s word, the righteous, who have accepted Jesus as Lord, are like the cedar tree. They grow, increase, prosper beyond their expectations, and become a blessing to all around them.

Dear friend, we are blessed to be in Christ. Serving God makes you stand out and stand tall wherever you go; it produces a ‘scent’ that makes you attract good things. As you follow the Lord, it makes people look up to you and trust you because you exhibit godly virtues like integrity, diligence and kindness.

You are like the cedar tree; you smell good, and your smell is supernatural.

Today’s Task:

Study and research more about the qualities of the cedar of Lebanon. Which of these qualities are present in your life?
