Topic: FLOURISH (PART 6)

Text: “If you have a willing heart to let me help you, and if you will obey me, you will feast on the blessings of an abundant harvest”- Isaiah 1:19, TPT.

Studying God’s word and sitting under powerful ministrations are great because they give us knowledge and revelation of what God desires and what he instructs us to do, but they are not enough to walk in the manifestation of God’s desires for us.

If we stop at receiving great information, our blessing is incomplete, and we cannot grow and flourish that way.

In Matthew 7:24, Jesus declares that the person who hears and does what the word says is indeed blessed.

Our blessing is guaranteed when we obey the instructions we receive from God. The blessing is in obedience. Our love for God is demonstrated through our obedience (John 14:15).

However, our obedience must not be forced; we must be willing to obey God at all times. Our willingness is an essential part of our obedience.

Today, ask God for His help to follow his instructions at all times and in all things. Our blessing is in our obedience.

Take time to study the scripture Isaiah 1:19. Write down an instruction you have obeyed recently; what experience or testimony can you tie to it?

Our attitude towards instruction is as important as our obedience.
