Today’s Word: FORGIVE AND THRIVE (PART 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: Mark 11:25, AMP – “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it and let it go), so that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your (own) failings and shortcomings and let them drop.”
Prayer is essential to the Christian life, acknowledging God’s supremacy and our dependence on Him. For our prayers to be unhindered, we must open our hearts to the forgiveness of any offence and grudge we hold against others.
Forgiveness frees us from the bondage of the past. Forgiveness may not change the past, but it assures you of an amazing future by God’s grace.
To walk in God’s overflowing grace, we must forgive others, releasing ourselves from the weight of past hurts. They may not deserve your forgiveness, but you deserve to be free from the bondage of bitterness.
Dear friend, I pray for you, in every way, may God help you in Jesus’ name.
