Today’s Word: Forgive and Thrive (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: Mark 11:25, AMP – “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it and let it go), so that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your (own) failings and shortcomings and let them drop.” –
As you go through life, people will hurt, betray, or disrespect you. But you must allow God to deal with those issues and not hold them in your heart. Hate and bitterness will only consume you.
Forgiving others isn’t about agreeing with what they did, but about choosing not to let their actions control your future.
Praying for them and showing acts of kindness lightens the burden of bitterness, and soon you will experience the freedom that forgiveness brings.
Dear friend, I pray that God empowers you to walk in love and gives you the grace to always walk in forgiveness.
