Today’s Word: Freedom from the Past (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference: Proverbs 26:11, ICB – “A dog eats what it throws up. And a foolish person repeats his foolishness.”

Many of us struggle to move forward in our lives because we are haunted by the mistakes we made in the past.

Sadly, many let the failures of the past recondition how they see themselves. Instead of seeing ourselves through God’s word, we view our possibilities through past mistakes and experiences.

Dear friend, mistakes are opportunities for growth, not burdens to carry. We should learn from them and allow them to make us wiser and stronger. Our mistakes should not become scars that rob us of joy and passion for life.

Today, God is calling you to rise above your past. There is so much He wants to accomplish through you. Do not become a prisoner of your mistakes; God is not focused on your past, no matter how hurtful it was. He is with you in the present, and His eyes are on your future.

Choose to align your vision with God’s vision and walk with Him daily.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I rebuke and reject every thought that does not align with God’s will for my life.
