Today’s Word: Freedom from the Past (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: Isaiah 43:18, ICB – “The Lord says, forget what happened before. Do not think about the past.”

Learning from past mistakes is one sure way to avoid repeating them. It is common to make mistakes as we go through life. 

Mistakes can occur due to oversight, failure to act appropriately, failure to discern rightly, trusting the wrong people, or other factors.

However, failure to learn from mistakes keeps people behind and repeating unhealthy patterns.

You are likely to repeat a mistake you did not learn from. Many of us would have been better and higher than we are now if only we had learnt from the mistakes and errors made in the past. A great man once said, “Whenever you fall, make sure you pick up something.”

Friends, if you look on the bright side and learn from your mistakes, you will find that most of them were blessings in disguise.

Every setback and error you learnt something from was a blessing in disguise.
