Topic: FRUITFUL RELATIONSHIPS (Part 5)

Text: “Foolish people should not be proud. And rulers should not be liars!” -Proverbs 17:7, ICB.

There are leaders who have become bitter because they have been disappointed and let down by people they trusted.

The people who sang their praises yesterday later turned out to vilify them.

While this was shocking to the affected leader, this is one of the realities of life.

There are those who are inconsistent and unpredictable and lack solid values and principles to guide them.

This is why, if you are fortunate to have people who are genuine with you, don’t let your pride or ego cause you to lose them.

Some of us prefer to hear nice words that applaud practically everything we do; we are not interested in honest feedback because it crushes our ego.

Failure to listen to honest feedback and to make room for criticism is a recipe for disaster and regret.

If you are privileged to have people who love you and are real with you, nurture this bond connection. These are fruitful relationships.

In the name of Jesus, I decree that bitterness will not have a hold on my heart, and right now, I release myself from every excuse that wants to make me continue in bitterness and unforgiveness towards anyone.
