TOPIC: GET RICH IN HIS WORD (Part 1)
BIBLE TEXT: “Let the teaching of Christ live in you richly. Use all wisdom to teach and strengthen each other. Sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” – Colossians 3:16, ICB.

God communicates with us through his word. The more you have God’s word in you, the more He speaks to you. Therefore, it is necessary to spend time with the word of God. Anything that makes us too busy for God’s word is a distraction to God’s purpose for our lives. We must apply our hearts to wisdom and ensure that the word of God is prioritised and seen as a channel for God’s voice to us. Take time to meditate daily as you hear and study God’s word. Through meditation, we are empowered to apply God’s word to our lives. We meditate by thinking about the word, with the word, how it applies to our lives, and what God is saying to us through his word. This is my counsel to you today; get rich in his word.

WISDOM PUSH

1. Pray against anything that makes you uninterested in the Word of God.
2. Recognise the word of God as a significant source of wisdom that should guide your life.
3. As you stay with God’s word, the spirit of God awakens you to God’s will on all issues.

TODAY’S PRAYER

I declare that from today, my value and commitment to the word of God is greatly increased in Jesus’ name.
