TOPIC: GET RICH IN HIS WORD (Part 3)
BIBLE TEXT: “But by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4

God speaks to us in various ways and through several mediums. Nevertheless, his words are meant to guide and help us. For example, according to Matthew 4, after Jesus had fasted for forty days and nights, the devil appeared and asked him to turn stones into bread. It was a temptation. It was a distraction. It was a test of his faith and focus on God. Jesus responded to the temptation by remaining firm on God’s word and richly referring to scriptures for each temptation. God’s word is intended to guide us in living wisely.

Friends, God uses His word to direct our steps and stops. To keep your spirit charged, you must keep hearing God’s word. Read the word, study it, meditate on it, and confess it daily. Keep it close to your heart. By all means, make it a daily habit. Always remember that the scriptures have been given to us so we can become everything God desires us to be. (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
