Today’s Word: God-centered Faith (Part 2)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 20:7 (AMPC) – “Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God.”

A person may know many great and influential people without profiting from such connections and affiliations. Many have become frustrated because it seems like they are not getting the help they desire from the influential people they know.

You may keep getting disappointed for as long as you allow your focus to be on humans instead of God. Whatever it is you need from people, talk to God about it. Listen for his direction and follow His lead. Whatever He tells you to do, please do it. If your eyes are truly on the Lord, you will not end in shame.

Remember God’s word in Psalms 34:5, which says, “They looked unto Him, and they were radiant…” The should encourage you that the help you need is in God. He will make it happen through whoever and whatever means He chooses. Focus on Him.

Resist the temptation of depending on anyone. Depend solely on the Lord God. As you keep your eyes on him, he knows how to make you find favour before those with the material resources you desire.

I want to share a scripture you must hold dear from today. It is in Proverbs 16:7 (TPT) that says, “When the Lord is pleased with the decisions you’ve made, he activates grace to turn enemies into friends.”

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the mighty hand of the Lord protects everything that concerns me.
