Today’s Word: God-centered faith (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: Hebrews 11:2 (MSG) – “The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.”

Many people have faith in several things; for some, it’s about their skills; for others, it’s about their looks; and for some, it’s about certain people in their lives. So, for each person, their faith is centred on several things.

For every true believer, your faith has to be radically centred on God. It shouldn’t just be something you confess but what you demonstrate practically every day. Demonstrating our faith in God is not for special events or occasions; it is for every day. This is why the scripture tells us that the just shall live by faith. So, faith in God is needed for daily living.

According to today’s bible text, our patriarchs obtained a good report because of their faith in God and distinguished themselves. Your faith in God will set you apart from others. Your faith in God will create room for you at the top.

While others boast in other things, make your boast in the Lord. Here is God’s word to you from Jeremiah 9:24, “But let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me…”

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the Lord is my strength and advantage, and He causes me to triumph always.
