Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 119:9 TPT — “How can a young man stay pure? Only by living in the word of God and walking in its truth.”

The word of God has been given to us so that we can search, study, and embrace its wealth of wisdom and guidance. The word of God has been given to us from the depth of God’s love to help us from being distracted by the schemes of the enemy.

God’s word has been given to us to reveal to us God’s love and his will.

God’s word has been given to us to show us the standards by which God wants us to live, love and to fill us with the wisdom of God.

Sadly, some believers can spend hours on social media, watching movies or talking with friends but cannot spend 30 minutes with the word of God or in prayer.

Guess what? This indiscipline will show in your spiritual passion, spiritual understanding, the manifestation of Christian character and your yielding to God.

Ask yourself today: what are the things that truly matter to you? What are the things that my destiny depends on? What kind of life must I live that will help me grow in the knowledge of God? What kind of life must I begin to live that will help me walk in the manifestation of the promises of God?

You need to come to a point where you discern the things that truly matter and begin to invest time in the things that truly matter.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that by God’s wisdom, I win every day against misplaced priorities.
