Today’s Word: God gives (Part 4)
Today’s Bible Reference: Philippians 4:7 (TPT) – “Then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.”
One of the beautiful descriptions of our God is that He gives true peace. He is the God of peace. Friends, family and our jobs/careers may offer promises of peace, but only God can truly give peace. The peace that humans, possessions and activities promise is temporary; the peace God gives is eternal.
True peace is not the absence of challenges or trials; it is the knowing and confidence that no matter what comes at you, the Lord is with you and is committed to your victory.
Knowing and focusing on this truth positions us to experience God’s peace every day. Indeed, our God gives peace in a way nothing and no one can.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, my heart is focused on Christ. He gives me peace today and always.
