Today’s Word: God gives (Part 6)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 144:1 (NLT) – “Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.”

Once upon a time, an enemy came against God’s people. He strategically spoke words to threaten and intimidate them. The enemy kept recounting what he had successfully done to others, and this made God’s people afraid.

For forty days, Goliath was in charge, and God’s children succumbed to fear until God positioned a young, unassuming man to challenge and defeat the giant.

God used this crisis to give David a national platform, and God gave him a strategy. David challenged Goliath with an instrument Goliath wasn’t used to – a sling and stone. In all his fighting years, no one ever challenged Goliath with that. This was what God used to end the voice of the enemy. 

Dear friend, our God gives strategy. Nothing should make you afraid or intimidated; call on the Lord and He will show you a way out.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I receive a supernatural strategy for victory today.
