Topic: GOD WANTS TO KEEP YOU FROM EVIL (Part 3)

Bible Text: “Keep me from the jaws of the trap which they have set for me, and from the snares of those who do evil. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I pass by and safely escape [from danger].” – Psalms 141:9-10, AMP.

A key advantage we have in God is the blessing of divine direction. Through several channels, the Lord provides direction and guidance to his children. Our father wants us to be guided in all things. He wants us to profit above others by divine direction, and he never wants us to learn from pain or losses.

While experience can be a good teacher, you don’t have to learn only through personal experiences. Choosing to learn only from personal experiences can be hurtful. God permits us to learn from personal experiences when we refuse to learn from counsels, teachers, God’s Word and by His spirit.

Check again; whatever you were going through that God delivered you from, he may have spoken to you, instructed you, or exposed you to some form of counsel. But perhaps you didn’t notice, didn’t take it seriously, or didn’t act on it. Our father wants to stop every form of intended misfortune; He wants to protect us from evil and not just deliver us from evil. Therefore, the blessing of divine direction is a significant benefit we have as children of God.

1. Experience is not the best teacher; the holy spirit is the best teacher.
2. God wants to distinguish you in everything through his direction.
