Topic: GOD WANTS TO KEEP YOU FROM EVIL (Part 4)

Bible Text: “Lord, even when I have trouble all around me, you will keep me alive. When my enemies are angry, you will reach down and save me by your power.” – Psalms 138:7, ICB.

Friends, there is deliverance from evil and God’s protection from evil. The difference is in the timing, which is influenced by when and how you recognize God’s voice, as well as where you place God in your life. By the way, God will sometimes let you go through things he knows are good for you, but he will still make way for you to get out of them.

HERE IS ONE KEY LESSON TO HELP US EXPERIENCE GOD’S PROTECTION FROM EVIL: We must always commit our ways to the Lord. We must cultivate this discipline due to the temptation of human intelligence. Sometimes, the distraction of human expertise makes us believe we can do without God; therefore, we must be disciplined to commit our ways to God, including the decisions we wish to make, the things presented to us, and the things that bother us. Things are not always as they appear, so you must put your complete trust in the Lord. Always be reminded of Proverbs 16:3, AMP, “Commit your works to the Lord (submit and trust them to him), and your plans will succeed (if you respond to his will and guidance).” God will keep you safe as long as you follow him.

1. As we grow in the knowledge of God, we grow in understanding our difference.
2. If only you believe what God says about you more than anything else, you will walk in power.
