Topic: GOD WANTS TO PROTECT YOU FROM EVIL (Part 7)

Bible Text: “The Lord will guard you from all dangers. He will guard your life. The Lord will guard you as you come and go, both now and forever.” – Psalms 121:7-8

Being God’s child has numerous advantages and blessings. Among the many blessings are divine provision, direction, and protection. In Isaiah 41:10, the Lord reminds us, “do not worry because I am with you. Don’t be afraid because I am your God; I will make you strong and help you. I will support you with my right hand that saves you.” The father desires to keep us safe from anything that will work against us.

As a child of God, you may still go through certain storms and challenges, and you may question why God would allow it or did not protect you from it. You must understand that whatever God allows you to go through, he will make it work in your favour if you keep your eyes on him. Many times, God will not remove us from all harm. Instead, he would use those situations to move us close to him. Therefore, we must keep our eyes and heart on God regardless of the situation. As we keep our eyes on God, we will find the wisdom to win in all seasons and conditions.

Always remember that safety comes in our nearness to God, not our distance from our enemies.
