Topic: God Wants You Healed (Part 4)

Text: “If one of you is sick, he should call the church’s elders. The elders should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord and pray for him.” – James 5:14, ICB.

 

Sometimes, people believe it is moral to suffer in silence, or perhaps it is a sign of maturity if they can pray for themselves and solve all spiritual problems on their own.

While it is important to be able to fight battles and pray for yourself, it is also important to be part of a spiritual family that prays and intercedes for you when the need arises.

In the same way we need our biological family and support system, it is important to have a spiritual family with elders whose counsel you can trust, with testimonies of the fruit of the spirit and the anointing of God in their lives.

The Bible says if two shall agree on a thing, it will be done by our heavenly father. This is not only for requests and expectations but for healing as well.

It is indeed a blessing for you to be part of a spiritual family.
