Today’s Word: God’s presence in our lives (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 103:8, AMP – “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness.”

God’s Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2 to never forget the goodness of the Lord. He shows us mercy, forgives us, heals us, and grants us the good desires of our hearts. The Lord causes his light to shine on our paths and guides us in the right direction according to his will for us. 

Every good thing in our lives is a result of God’s mercy. We sleep and wake up because his mercy keeps us. God is merciful in all His ways, kind in every act, and faithful to all He has created.

While humans may be inconsistent, God remains faithful. His mercy is eternal, and He never fails. For one reason or another, humans may not extend mercy all the time, but God’s mercy is always available. 

Dear friend, God’s Word today is for us to rejoice in his mercy. His mercy endures forever—unstoppable, unending, and ever-present, even when we don’t deserve it.

Take a moment today and thank God for his mercy.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that God’s mercy keeps and sustains me. I have nothing to fear because the Lord is for me.
