Topic: GOD’S WORK IN YOUR LIFE (Part 3)

Text: “Jesus answered, ‘You don’t understand what I am doing now. But you will understand later.” -John 13:7, ICB.

Life is laced with seasons, times, and events. Challenges will come, good times will come and all sorts.

We must not only remember God when things are going well, and we must also not assume that God has abandoned us when we face difficulties.

God is always with us, even when things are hard.

We must also rise above the assumption that if God truly loves us, we will receive everything we ask for, when and how we want it.

Indeed, we must come to love God so much that we can trust him in all circumstances.

There is a beautiful portion of the scriptures that I want us to reflect on. It is found in Habakkuk 3:17-18 ICB, “Fig trees may not grow figs. There may be no grapes on the vines. There may be no olives growing on the trees. There may be no food growing in the fields. There may be no sheep in the pens. There may be no cattle in the barns. But I will still be glad in the Lord. I will rejoice in God, my Savior.”

God is constantly at work in us and uses everything to further his wonderful purpose in our lives.

We must express our love and trust in him regardless of the season or circumstance.

TODAY’S TASK:

Ask yourself if there are things that have made you doubt God’s love and faithfulness. Are there issues that made you question if God hears your prayers? Take time to reflect on the goodness of God in your life over the years.

Challenges and trying times will test your loyalty to God’s word.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for everything. Please help me to trust you better each day.
