Topic: GOD’S WORK IN YOUR LIFE (Part 4)

Text: “Love the Lord your God. Love him with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength.” – Mark 12:30, ICB.

 

Each of us seeks fulfilment in various areas, and we all have responsibilities that must be met.

We may be fortunate enough to receive assistance from others to meet our material needs.

However, it’s beautiful to know that our heavenly Father, the Lord God Almighty, is our ultimate helper and helps us in ways no one else can.

God doesn’t only want us to have material things; his ultimate desire is that we will embrace his will in all things.

This is because embracing God’s will in all things affects our desires, focus, and actions. It will become easier for us to wait, trust, and joyfully serve the Lord.

Such that God will remain Lord over our hearts even if we don’t have our needs met as we desire.

No matter what, we can effortlessly trust in God’s love.

Trusting God at all times involves obeying God even if he chooses not to give us exactly what we ask for.

This was the declaration of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego – they vowed never to dishonour God even if he didn’t deliver them from the threat of their enemies.

We must hold on to our faith, no matter what happens.

TODAY’S TASK:

Check if the presence or absence of certain things is affecting your passion for the things of God. Decide that your hunger for God will be deeper daily.

WISDOM PUSH:

We will rise in spiritual authority by our discipline. God will not use an indisciplined believer for great things.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:

In the name of Jesus, today, I receive grace to rise above everything keeps hindering my complete obedience to God.
