Topic: GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY (Part 2)

Bible Text: “I am the one who forgives all your sins. I do this to please myself. I will not remember your sins.” – Isaiah 43:25, ICB.

Until the past losses its controlling power over your life, you deny yourself the many awesome things God wants to do with you and in you. If your yesterday negatively controls your today, it will be difficult to discern or identify the will of God for you now. (Romans 12:2). This is because while you are using yesterday’s experiences to define your life today, God uses his understanding of your future to speak about your today. So, when your perspective doesn’t align with him, even when he is speaking clearly to you, you can not discern or understand.

Until God can bring you to his level of thinking, there is so little you can profit from him. So this is one of the assignments of God’s word; to bring us to God’s way of thinking so that we will begin to see ourselves, situations, and others from God’s perspective.

3. You are not your mistakes; you are your possibilities.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am strengthened by the Lord every day, and I am in alignment with His will for my life.
