Topic: GRACE AND MERCY

Text: “Let us, then, feel free to come before God’s throne. Here, there is grace. And we can receive mercy and grace to help us when we need it.” – Hebrews‬ 4‬:16‬, ICB.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Many have often asked if there is a difference between “Grace” and “mercy”. Many times, it is even used interchangeably. However, there is a difference: they are not the same.

While God’s grace gives us the wonderful things we don’t deserve, God’s mercy keeps us from the judgment and bad things we deserve.

So, in our daily lives, we need both grace and mercy. It is by his mercy we are not consumed. It is by his mercy that we have been saved. It is through grace we can have all our needs met. Through His grace, we can become all he wants us to be.

Dear friends, daily, we must thank him for grace and mercy. We must acknowledge that we are who we are because of God’s grace and mercy.

Lord, I thank you for your grace and mercy. I acknowledge that I am who I am because of your mercy and grace. Thank you, Jesus Christ.
