Today’s Word: Grateful Hearts (Part 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 100:4 (ICB)—”Come into His city with songs of thanksgiving. Come into His courtyards with songs of praise. Thank Him and praise His name.”
Embracing gratitude leads to success. King David exemplified this, making thanksgiving and praise a daily practice. As we thank God for what He has done, we open the door to more of His blessings.
In contrast, the Israelites’ ingratitude led to their downfall. Despite God’s miracles, they failed to remember His past faithfulness and chose to grumble about present challenges, even desiring to return to slavery in Egypt. This failure to remain grateful resulted in their continued hardship.
We must learn from their mistakes. Gratitude propels us forward and opens doors for greater opportunities.
I pray that you will not lose God’s blessings due to ingratitude. Receive grace for a lifestyle of gratitude in Jesus’ name.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration
Lord Jesus, thank You for yesterday’s blessings. I trust that you are my ever-present help. Hallelujah.
