Today’s Word: Grateful Hearts (Part 2)

Today’s Bible Reference: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ICB)—“Give thanks whatever happens. That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.”

Certain virtues are vital in experiencing the manifestation of the amazing things God has prepared for us. We learn about these virtues by studying God’s Word, and gratitude is one such essential virtue.

When gratitude becomes your habit, you become an enigma to your adversary. Those who practice gratitude live by faith, which baffles the enemy. When they expect you to be sorrowful, you are instead rejoicing in God’s goodness.

Remember, everyone on earth has a reason to be thankful each day. Life itself is not a right but a gift of God’s mercy.

Gratitude to God is a powerful key to accessing greater heights in Him. If you can’t thank God for what He’s done, you may miss out on what He wants to do next. Choose gratitude daily.

In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will not bow to the pressure of murmuring and ingratitude. I pray that praise is sustained in your heart and lips in Jesus’ name.
