Today’s Word: Grateful Hearts (Part 3)
Today’s Bible Reference: Romans 4:20 (ICB)—“He never doubted that God would keep his promise. Abraham never stopped believing. He grew stronger in his faith and gave praise to God.”
An important principle for cultivating perpetual gratitude is not to base your gratitude on what your eyes can see.
Always be thankful for God’s love, His mercies, and everything He brings into your life. If your gratitude is limited to material blessings, you may lose focus when those needs are not immediately met.
Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice in the promise, even before your “Isaac” arrives.
Be grateful for what He has promised and express your confidence in the One who made the promise—the Lord God Almighty.
I pray for you daily; may your eyes and mind be alert to the goodness of God around you in Jesus’ name.
