Today’s Word: Gratitude Every Day (Part 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 100: 4 – “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
Gratitude is not just a feeling; it is an act of worship. When we thank God, we acknowledge his presence, goodness and almightiness.
While ingratitude often stems from a conscious or unconscious, unhealthy focus on certain things, gratitude shifts our focus to God, opening the door to his presence. Gratitude controls our atmosphere. Gratitude helps us to feel better about our present and look at the future with hope.
Dear friend, the Lord is calling us to embrace a life of gratitude every day. Choose gratitude. I want to encourage you to write three things you will thank God for today. Express gratitude to Him, and you will live each day with wisdom.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, all through today, I choose to praise God, not only because of what I feel but because of who He is. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
