Today’s Word: Gratitude (Part 6)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 100:4 (KJV) – “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.” 

The attitude of gratitude helps make the most of God’s presence. Anyone with an attitude of gratitude can draw so much from God’s presence.

As we spend time with God, thanksgiving should be the first thing we do – praising and worshipping our great king for his great love and mercy.

We do not deserve the countless blessings we receive from the Lord daily. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:27, ‘We cannot add to our height or stature’, and he also says in Matthew 6:32, ‘Your heavenly Father already knows your needs’.

It’s so beautiful to have a father who is a loving shepherd. He leads and provides for us tenderly like sheep. He has given us all we have; we must spend quality time giving him thanks BEFORE any other spiritual activity. 

Dear friend, I want to encourage you to show your gratitude to God today, and I pray that the attitude of praise and thanksgiving remains in you in Jesus’ name.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

Lord Jesus, I see your glorious hand in my life, and I rejoice in where you are taking me to. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
