Today’s Word: Gratitude (Part 8)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 105:1-2 (NLT) – “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.”

How will you thank God? How will you express your gratitude to God for life and all the blessings you have received?

In 2 Samuel 16, the scripture recounts David’s extravagant praise and gratitude to God. David danced before the Lord till his clothes fell off. King Solomon offered over a thousand cows to honour God for making him king. Hannah gave Samuel, as a sacrifice of gratitude, to God to end the barrenness in her life.

We cannot repay God for his kindness, but we can thank him in a way that is so beautiful it will touch the heart of God. Be it a soul won to Christ, a seed monetary sacrifice, an hour of worship, a covenant or dedication of your life to God, think of a way to express your gratitude and do it today.

When you put thought and effort into thanking God in the best way, he releases the best gifts to you.  

Receive the garment of thanksgiving and celebration in Jesus’ name.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

Lord, I thank you for loving me beyond my faults and limitations. Thank you for teaching me to love. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
