Today’s Word: Grow in Grace (Part 1)

Today’s Bible Reference:  2 Peter 3: 18 (GNT) – “But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, now and forever! Amen.”

A proof that something is alive lies in its ability to grow. Growth is proof of life. It is natural for living and healthy things to grow. Our spirit man is a living being, and it must be nurtured to grow. 

Today’s bible reference counsels us to grow in grace and knowledge of God. We are not called to be stagnant in our Christianity, we are commanded to grow. 

The first step to growth is desire. Peter tells us to desire the word of God that will make us grow. We must stay perpetually hungry for spiritual growth. Yesterday’s growth is not enough. We must be intentional about growing every day.

Dear friend, what steps will you take for spiritual growth today? I pray God gives you grace and wisdom to grow spiritually every day.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I bear good fruits in my Christian walk, my path shines brighter every day, and God’s love grows stronger in my heart every day.
