Today’s Word: Grow in Grace (Part 2)

Today’s Bible Reference: 2 Peter 3: 18 (GNT) – “But continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, now and forever! Amen.”- GNT 

If you truly desire spiritual growth, you must be willing to make sacrifices. Growth is impossible without sacrifices. We must learn and willingly choose God’s pathway and counsel even when it is not convenient. This is the attitude of a heart that understands sacrifice. 

We can’t follow instructions we don’t understand, which is why studying God’s word is essential for spiritual development. 

Dear friend, how committed are you to Bible study, reading Christian materials, and listening to faith-building sermons?  

Do you memorise scriptures and conduct reviews to apply the sermons you hear at church, or do you simply attend the service without implementing what you’ve learnt?

We grow in Christ by growing in our knowledge of God’s word. This makes us strong and mature believers. God wants us to grow, and this is only possible by consuming and obeying the word of God. It may not be easy, but the blessings are too many to count.

I pray for you, in Jesus’ name, receive grace and a strong desire for the word of God from today.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am not just a hearer but also a doer of God’s word.
