Today’s Word: Grow in Grace (Part 7)

Today’s Bible Reference: Ephesians 2:8-9 (Easy to Read Version) – “When you believed in Jesus, God saved you because he is very kind. You could save yourselves, but that is God’s gift to you. He has not saved you as a result of any good things that you have done. So nobody has any reason to be proud about it.” 

Learn to recognise the help that God gives when you ask, and thank him for it. Many people ask God for help but are not open to receiving or even recognising his help. 

If someone came to you and asked for your help or advice but walked away without receiving it or received it without saying thank you, if the person comes for help again, you would be reluctant and may even refuse to help such a person.  

If you are struggling to pray for a certain amount of time and the Holy Spirit helps you to become consistent, thank him for that. If the Bible was hard to understand and you asked God to open your mind, thank him for making his word easier for you to understand. 

How has God been releasing grace and help to you? Recognise it and thank him today. Say, ‘Thank you, Jesus, I receive your help today’.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

Lord Jesus, I thank you for everything. Thank you for being my ever-present and all-around help. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
