Today’s Word: GROWING THROUGH THE WORD (Part 1)

Bible Reference: Psalms 119:105, NKJV—”Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

According to our Bible reference. The first half of the text describes God’s word as a LAMP TO MY FEET. This means that God’s word provides light for our NEXT STEPS.

It is indeed true that God rarely gives us a 5-, 10-, or 20-year blueprint for our lives. Instead, he provides the wisdom we need to handle difficult conversations and choices today, and he provides us with the peace we need to sleep through stressful nights.

Often, when we are overwhelmed by the big picture, God’s word brings us back to the present, giving us the light we need to walk faithfully right from where we are. Indeed, God helps us to grow through His word. Let’s embrace this truth with joy.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the word of God ministers peace to my heart, giving me strength in every situation.
