Today’s Word: GROWTH THROUGH CHALLENGES

Bible Reference: James 1:2-3 NKJV—”Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.”

When challenges come, our instinct is to pray for a way out. In fact, many people are superstitious about every challenge; they see it as satanic attacks, proofs of God’s anger against them, or interruptions in their lives. But we need to understand that God will not allow anything into our lives to crush us, but to refine us. God will always use everything to advance his good purpose in our lives.

One of the blessings of challenges is that these pressures will force you to decide what you truly believe in, and this helps your maturity.

Spiritual maturity does not mean you are above challenges; it simply means you have a character that has been shaped by God through every means.

So, when you find yourself in challenging seasons, remember that you are in the hands of the master builder. He is not wasting your pain, but he is using it to produce strength and help your growth.
