Topic: HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD (Part 5)

Bible Text: “Direct my steps by your Word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.” – Psalms 119:133.

Many times, how we see God influences how we receive from him. Many people imagine God as a distant, fearful creature who, whenever he speaks, something dramatic must occur. Many people do not yet see God as a caring and loving father whose ways are simple and who does not want us to be confused or misdirected in any way.

Our father wants to lead and guide us in all things.

It is important to note that, amongst others, the Lord speaks to us through revelation or inspiration channels and medium. For example, the word of God is a channel for revelation, whereas dreams are channels for inspiration. It is important to open ourselves to receive from God through these channels, including through visions and many more. We must desire to hear God’s voice and his counsel at all times and on all issues.

There are countless benefits of hearing the voice of God. For example, the voice of God brings encouragement, strength, and hope and sets us free from fear. The voice of God always seeks to make you better and to stay aligned with God’s will for your life. Please, remember what we said earlier: how you see God will determine how you receive from him. He is a loving and caring father and he does not want you to be confused or misdirected in any way.

Dear friend, we will become more familiar with our father’s voice as we position ourselves to listen to him more and more.

3. Desire to grow deeper in the channels through which God communicates with you

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am strengthened daily and in all things by the voice of God.
