Topic: HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD (Part 8)

Bible Text: “Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.” – Isaiah 30:21, AMP.

According to the NLT, God’s word says in Romans 8:16, “For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.” According to the Passion Translation of Romans 8:16, “For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” So, you are a child of God and one with him through his spirit, which now dwells within you. It’s a beautiful feeling to be constantly reminded that you have the spirit of God living within you.

We have a responsibility to continue feeding and nurturing ourselves with God’s word, prayer, worship, praise and the proper spiritual discipline so that hearing God’s voice becomes unhindered and consistent. As you continue to feed your spirit with God’s word, stay in the right spiritual environment, and commit to submitting to the authority of God’s word in all things, the channels of your spirit remain open to keep receiving and hearing from God.

1. Commit to growing in your relationship with the Lord every day.
2. Daily, commit to walking in the spirit to avoid becoming a victim of your flesh.
