Topic: HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD (Part 9)

Bible Text: “Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.” – Isaiah 30:21, AMP.

Hearing God’s voice is enhanced through fellowship. The more we value God’s presence and spend time with him, the more pleasing and reassuring his voice becomes to us.

Dear friends, you and I have a responsibility to continue watering and strengthening our relationship with the Lord through fellowship and submitting ourselves to what honours the father. People who are too busy to spend time with God lose the ability to recognise his voice. We must realise that the demands of life can be so overwhelming that we require the voice of God to help us sail through and remain strong.

As we humble ourselves before the Lord and acknowledge that we can do nothing on our own, we maintain a healthy spirit to continue receiving and discerning the Lord’s guidance.

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Understand that humility and meekness are required to receive God’s guidance.
2. Every day, consciously feed your spirit with God’s Word.
3. Nothing should be more important to you than spending time in God’s presence.

TODAY’S PRAYER

My father, I ask that you search my heart and deliver me from anything that will disconnect me from your voice in Jesus’ name.
